About — Maria Fagranes
Different worlds.
One common thread.
I work with people and transformation — exploring how our state shapes the way we think, feel, lead, create and perform.

When we learn to intentionally shift our state, we change how we show up in everything we do.
Biography
From boardrooms and workshops to retreats, saunas and the DJ booth.
My background is rooted in business, entrepreneurship and the Nordic startup ecosystem. I hold an MSc in Brand & Communications Management from Copenhagen Business School and have spent more than a decade building companies, developing communities and working with founders, leaders and organisations.
But somewhere along the way, my curiosity shifted. I became increasingly interested not only in what makes people perform, but in the state we perform from.
Because how we feel affects everything: how we think, communicate, lead, create, make decisions and connect with other people.
Today, my work sits at the intersection of business, human performance, personal development, music and well-being. Through workshops, facilitation, meditation, breath, music and immersive experiences, I create spaces for people to step out of autopilot, reconnect with themselves and become more intentional about the state they bring into their work and their lives.
My approach brings together worlds that are often kept separate.
My approach brings together worlds that are often kept separate. I combine the strategic understanding that comes from years in business and entrepreneurship with experiential practices and tools from meditation, coaching, breathwork, sound, energy work and holistic personal development.
And music runs through almost everything I do. As a DJ, I’m fascinated by the way sound can shift our state — how a single piece of music can change the feeling in our body, the atmosphere in a room and the way we connect with ourselves and each other. I bring that same understanding into my workshops, retreats and sauna experiences, using music intentionally to support presence, movement, reflection and connection.
I don’t believe sustainable performance is about constantly doing more. I believe some of our greatest capacity becomes available when we understand ourselves better, learn how to consciously influence our state and create from a place that feels aligned with who we are.

The thread
01 / Background
Business first
An MSc in Brand & Communications Management, then years in entrepreneurship, startups and innovation ecosystems — programme management, building things from nothing, and learning how organisations actually work.
02 / Turn
The question that kept returning
How do people create and perform at a high level without slowly disconnecting from themselves? It showed up in every environment I worked in, and it became the question my work is built around.
03 / Practice
Facilitation, meditation, music
Facilitation and personal development on one side, meditation and stillness on the other, and electronic music running underneath all of it. Different rooms, same intention.
04 / Now
Making the spaces
Today I create experiences — DJ sets, workshops, retreats and gatherings — where people can step out of their heads and back into themselves.

That is the thread
Creating spaces that allow people to reconnect with themselves, shift their state and access more of who they already are.
Corporate experiences, workshops for teams, retreats and DJ bookings — all start the same way, with a conversation.
